Hi, look at the owner manual of your vp and check p51 the Warning Indicator to see in what case you are.
Maybe the lamp's dead, you've no way to see the hour meter of the lamp use?

Ok that's different. If I understood well, you've already shunt the optocoupler onto the lamp ballast board?
If yes please give us some picture of these and more details of your operation.

Hi, could you please take another picture of the opto on the lamp ballast? (without blur...)
Did you try to do the shunt directly on the opto legs?

Citation :

If there is no light, can you come out of standby

No, no light, no chocolate  :na:

PS: I don't understand well if you did the shunt because your VP didn't want to turn on before? or you did it after the lamp death in order to mod it? > What was the status of your VP before your shunt?

Ok, first, remake the connection between wires you've cut and shunt, and do the shunt between the left legs of the opto on the top, like this> http://upz.fr/Q6BOg.jpg
Try to put it on (do it directly with the VP buttons, not with the remote control), and be carreful, there's certainly an interruptor at the bottom of lamp socket to confirm that it's well closed. It's a little board with a little interruptor. Hold it with a little piece of tape to be sure it send the information to the mother board that it's well closed, or symply close well the lamp socket...

Secondly, If nothing happen, maybe your ballast is temporised, in that case you'll have to put and interruptor between the 2 shunted legs of your opto.
Once made, put the interruptor off, then turn on your VP and 1 second after turn on the opto shunt interruptor.

No buttons on the projector. Controlled by remote
http://i61.tinypic.com/2415hd0.jpg
I do not know you mean working buttons on the board.
See photo
Does it matter if the shunt is an opto or wires.
http://i57.tinypic.com/vfvb52.jpg
I put a switch and turn on the power after 1 second on the switch
no change

That's very strange, I've never see that...

To be sure that your remote is working, look his led with a camera and push any button, our eyes don't see infra red, camera sensors are more sensitive and can see it...

If you are sure that's good wires corresponding to good opto legs, no.

I tried and shunt legs optocoupler
http://i62.tinypic.com/34pz42h.jpg
switch on cover is closed, has a thermal switch us-603 his work.
Maybe there is another switch somewhere but I can not find it.
I know the remote works, I tested it with the camera and the program on my PC girder
Remote has two codes that change with menu and image button pressed together
Girder code on power button is CC0000FF0000-code1 and CC8800FF0000-code 2
Can you find el. scheme?

Normally there's no other switch, just that of the lamp cover, an the temperature sensor...and all wires have to be well connected of course...

Little question: on the power board, on the white outlet, did you well reconnect the klixon? (if it's his outlet...)

Sorry I don't understand what scheme you're looking for...those of the remote?
