I am very interested in this diy project. I am planning on buying a 3M 1620 projector.Is it any good?
 
Can I replace the light in this projector? I was planning on installing a lamp FC2 400W...can it be done easily?
 
I also have a 17 inche tft.is this enough?
 
I have many questions...you look like experts so if you could give me a hand i would thank a lot.

Hello, I am also new here i can't help you for the light but a 17" monitor is big enough and it can be a little bit too big for your overhead projector but just a little.
 
You must look on this list: http://ecrans.energie-libre.net/, on "recherche" if your monitor can be used.
